I saw Mr Punwar this afternoon and a member of his team as a followup from my operation for a uni-compartmental knee replacement in October. I was very happy with my treatment both for the operation and also today.
I like that Mr Punwar is very direct in his approach, and as I know that in future I shall have to have surgery on my other knee, I will trust Mr Punwar to perform this operation at some time in the future.

From start to finish Mr Panwar was kind, considerate, informative putting me totally at ease ahead of my major operation. His aftercare in hospital was exceptional as was the follow up care I received. I have no hesitation in recommending Mr Panwar to any other patient. The service I received was 2nd to none. He is a credit to your hospital and his profession. His attitude is brilliant he makes you feel at ease and able to ask questions without feeling embarrassed.

He saw us promptly in fracture clinic and set up appropriate investigations and saw us afterwards. He arranged the management straight away and requested a fu appointment. He saw us at short notice as an extra because the clinic the day before had been cancelled. He showed us the X-rays which was helpful. He was friendly patient and understanding.

Doctor Punwar was fantastic from start to finish. He didnt make any promises but told me he would do his best for the best outcome. He managed to repair my torn meniscus even after 8 months due to his handywork and was really helpful with the aftercare. It’s made a big difference to my day to day life as a young active adult and I couldn’t be more grateful to Doctor Punwar. Thanks again Doctor Punwar and the NHS

Real pleasure to see you back to normal activities. The pandemic has led to lots of delays in the system but I am glad we were still able to repair your meniscus. I was lucky enough to have Mr Punwar as my surgeon for complex ankle surgery. It has healed very well and, throughout, I felt confidence in his skill and knowledge. Just as important was the reassurance I got from him, his optimism. He always listened to my questions and explained things clearly. It was also a pleasure to see his whole team and other colleagues working so well together.
